One generation costs one credit. Every new account starts with a free batch; after that, unlocking the app adds a larger batch, and you can buy another batch any time from the paywall. Credits never expire and there is no subscription — nothing renews on its own and nothing resets daily.
Credits for a rewarded ad are added by our server after the ad network confirms you watched it through — not by the app itself. That confirmation usually arrives within a few seconds, but it travels over the network and can lag.
When that happens the app tells you the reward is on its way. Close and reopen the app a moment later and the balance will have moved. Credits are never granted twice for the same view, so there is no harm in checking again.
Closing an ad before it finishes earns nothing — that is how the ad network reports it, and we only hear about completed views.
The button is on the upgrade screen, and it says how many you have left — Watch an ad: +5 (3 left today). Once you reach the limit it disappears until the next day. The day rolls over on our server's schedule rather than at your local midnight, so it may come back a few hours either side of when you expect.
The button is also hidden when the ad network has nothing to show you, which happens more often on a new account or in a smaller market. Try again later — and either way, ads are optional: every built-in pack works without them.
There were never any ads to remove. AI Charades has no banners and shows nothing between rounds — the only ad is the one you start yourself, from a button, in exchange for credits.
That button stays available after you buy the unlock, because it is a way to top up your balance rather than something interrupting you. Use it or ignore it.
On your device, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and turn off the permission for AI Charades. Ads still work — they are simply chosen without information about you, which is the only difference you will notice.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you were also shown a consent form before the first ad. To change that answer, open the app and go to Settings → Ad privacy choices.

Open the paywall and tap Restore purchase. This re-checks the purchase with Apple and re-applies it to your account — it doesn't charge you again, and the credits that came with the unlock come back with it. If you switched Apple IDs, sign in with the Apple ID you originally purchased with.
Extra credit packs work differently: they are delivered once, to the account you were signed in as, so there is nothing to restore. They are already on that account — sign in as the same account to see them.
Make sure Sign in with Apple is enabled for your Apple ID in Settings → [your name] → Sign in & Security on your device, and that you have a network connection. If it still fails, email us with your device model and iOS version.
Tap Report on the pack. It's reviewed and offending content is removed. AI-generated content can occasionally be wrong or unexpected — reports are the fastest way to get it fixed.
Open the app, go to Settings → Delete account. This immediately and permanently erases your account, email, credit balance, feedback and purchase record from our server — no support request needed.
Be aware that any credits left on the account go with it and cannot be recovered. The unlock itself can be restored, because Apple keeps that purchase against your Apple ID. See our Privacy Policy for details.
